We used Mr Appliance Woodly Park for our dishwasher, they came the next day and were apologetic they couldn’t come The day we called, the repair had a 30 day warranty, so if their fix didn’t fix it they would come back—they do have a service fee to come out that’s about $100, idk I expect that

I highly recommend Desmond, owner at Car Lord. 10th Street Auto wanted to charge us ~$2,000 for an alternator replacement. Desmond said he'd do it for $1000 but actually got us on the road for $200 and we've had no problems since. 10th Street Auto was our "go to" place when Kevin owned it, but it's gotten very expensive for big stuff, so we always go with Desmond. I might still use 10th Street for an oil change and the small stuff if I can't get out to Mt. Ranier.

I found Resolution Painting via Thumbtack and contracted them for an interior paint job earlier this year. They were reasonably priced, skilled, and punctual. Might be worth inquiring with them about exterior jobs.

They’ll come and pick things up (their warehouse is also pretty cool and at the end-ish of the Anacostia River Trail, if you ever get a chance to go out their way)
