Who we are
The People's Front of H Street was born in 2023 when neighbors who regularly walked their block on Sunday mornings picking up the trash decided to join forces... and add coffee. The idea was simple: When neighbors take care of a block together, people feel safer, more connected, and proud of where they live.
We meet weekly to pick up trash and afterwards gather to share coffee, pastries, and updates from our lives. All neighbors are welcome and there's no need to pick up trash to enjoy the food, beverages, and company afterwards. For more information see cleanup.
